The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties used, come from Florian Gayer's best vineyards from the unique top location, Rosenberg, at Breitenbrunn. This wine has matured in a small oak barrel for 32 months: 16 months in a new French barrique, then again 16 months in a new French barrique.
